The FDA has issued an urgent warning after a popular coffee creamer was recalled in 30 states after they were linked to spoilage.
More than 75,000 bottles of International Delight Coffee Creamer urgently recalled after reports of illness and spoilage, the Food and Drug Administration announced.
The company voluntarily remembered two popular flavors of the product – Hazelnut and Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll.
Consumers are warned to immediately throw these products away when they are found in their refrigerators.
According to the FDA, the parent company of International Delight started the recall after several complaints of spoilage and reports that consumers fell ill after consumption.
The exact number of people affected by illness has not been disclosed.
In a statement on Friday, Danone Noord -America wrote: “International Delight is aware of a texture problem that some consumers have experienced with two of our creamers.”
“We take care of the heart, because this is not the quality we strive for.”

According to the company, the recalled products did not meet 'quality standards due to premature spoils that manifest itself as a texture problem.'
“Although we know that this is disappointing for our Creamer fans, data has confirmed that this is not a problem with food safety,” the statement said.
“We have chosen to voluntarily remember these isolated products from an abundance of caution while we tackle the quality problem.”
The polluted products were widely distributed and reached shopping shelves in more than 30 states.
The recall spans across Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Consumers must check their refrigerators for: Hazelnut Creamer in 32 liquid ounce bottles with UPC code 0 41271 02565 2 and a best on the date of 2 July.
They also have to check: Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll Creamer in 32 liquid ounce bottles with UPC code 0 41271 01993 3 and a best on the date of 3 July.
