According to the outlet, Levy's criminal past dates back to when he was only 13 years old.
In 2002 he was arrested for a drug robbery and then spent 17 years behind bars.
In the six years after his release, Levy seemed to turn his life around, working as a community range specialist for the Washington Defender Association and Founding Redemption Auto, a car dealer in Everett.
He also served as a treasurer on the board of the Black Lives Matter Seattle-King County Chapter and reportedly devoted himself to the reform of criminal law.
In February, Insleigh signed a law with which Seattle would replace an exodus of police officers by illegal migrants.
The largest city in Washington only had 913 agents to serve its 750,000 people after losing 725 officers in the last five years.
As a result, the police have adjusted the rules to allow requests from migrants who have crossed the border as children illegally and to be registered on the deferred action for Childhood Arapsed (DACA) or 'Dreamers' program.
