About 100 members of the community joined the search for the little girl, which wore a pink jumpsuit and no shoes.
A body, supposed to be the remains of Airlie, was found four hours after she was missing.

He told the ABC that he saw the little girl run past a residential area on Sunday morning.
“I feel very sad for the death of a six -year -old girl,” said Krishnan.
“This morning I was sitting on the couch and said a prayer for her and said bye to her.”
