Allegedly Marvel looks at four big names for his reboot from X-Men Movie, and one rumor is so bizarre that I would be surprised if it is true

- A wave of cast rumors about Marvel’s X-Men Movie reboot have emerged online
- Several leakers claim that there are four big names to play a trio iconic mutants
- Fans are advised to take the above speculation with a large pinch of salt
Marvel’s X-Men Movie Reboot has been gone for a few more years. But after countless rumors appeared online online (16-21 May) last week, linking various large actors with roles in the aforementioned film, the last round of the crazy seasonal casting is definitely just around the door.
The iconic mutants of the comic giant will play a role in the next two of the multiverse saga Avengers Movies. Indeed, with old characters, including Patrick Stewart’s Professor X and Ian McKellen’s Magneto Avengers: Doomsday‘s first 27-person castActors who appeared in the 20th Century Fox that has now been destroyed X-Men Franchise returns for a last hurray before they pass the torch to the next generation.
Despite the fact that Avengers: Doomsday and the sequel Avengers: Secret Wars Does not land in the cinema until May 2026 and May 2027, Marvel is already searching the world (according to industry insiders, anyway) for A-Listers to depict the X-Men in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Mcu).
The first and certainly the most eyebrow elevation piece gossip that appears online comes from a prominent leaker Mytimetoshinehello (Mttsh). According to the Industry Insider, whose recent track record can be described as ‘mixed’ at its best, none other than Daniel Day-Lewis was watched to succeed McKellen and fellow Magneto actor Michael Fassbender as the metal-manipulent mutant.
As great as a coup as Marvel would be to convince Day-Lewis to join the MCU, this specific piece of speculation feels to say the least as unlikely.
The award -winning actor announced his retirement to act more than seven years ago and, apart from the appearance in AnemoneAn upcoming drama directed by his son Ronan, Day-Lewis has not been playing in another large or small screen project since 2017 Ghost. It seems unlikely that he would be persuaded by retirement in what would probably be a multi-Picture MCU deal.
Day-Lewis is not the only fan-favorite actor who has been associated with an important role as part of the new X-Men-Line-up of the MCU.
Bryan Cranston – Yes, he from Breaking Bath And Malcolm in the middle Roem, to name only two of his most striking roles in the race to possibly play opposite day-Lewis as Charles Xavier of the MCU.
Again, this seems like an unusual fit for an actor whose best roles have seen him embody morally complex characters. In that sense, playing an X-Men adjacent person/antagonist, such as Mr. Sinister-a role that Cranston has previously spoken about the approach (per Digital spy) Ten years ago – would fit better.
Then there is speculation about who plays Ororo Munroe, also known as the iconic weather -manipulating mutant called Storm. Per HeadMarvel approached Kirby Howell-Baptiste (The Zandman) and Jodie Turner-Smith (Star Wars: The Acolyte) To play her.
Now it would fail to say that all the above should be taken with a huge pinch of salt. First, another Leker of the industry – Apocalyptic rider – said that they have not even heard that a cast Shortlist was drawn up by Marvel.
Regardless of how accurate sources are from Apocalyptic rider, remember the non -repellent rumor mill about who would play The fantastic fouraka Marvel’s first family, in The Fantastic Four: First Steps And further in the MCU? Everyone from Adam Driver and Penn Badgley with linked to playing Richards, while Margot Robbie and Jodie Comer were supposedly tapped to portray Sue Storm.
In the end, such rumors turned out to be nothing more than inactive gossip. So, just because Day-Lewis and the company are currently linked to roles in the MCU, this does not mean that they will actually register to appear in films as soon as the multiverse saga ends at a certain point during or afterwards Marvel -phase 6.
If Marvel strives for a middle ground between the older acting citizens who appeared in the first X-Men trilogy and their younger counterparts who played in Fox’s own X-Men-reboot, Howell-Baptiste or Turner-Smith would be good attacks for a Mid-30s Munroe. Where Cranston and Day-Lewis are worried, however, I would be surprised if they have deals ink to play Professor X and Magneto.
We will have to wait and see if one of these rumors has them. The only thing that is absolutely certain is that this is not the last X-men-casting rumors that we read about. It will be a long and sometimes frustrating period of speculation, so strap for many more bizarre rumors in the weeks, months and even years, everyone.
