Horror moment car ploughs into pedestrians sending man and teenager flying through the air after a row over an Airbnb rental

Gruesome images have recorded the moment that an SUV plows up at speed in pedestrians while they try to flee before they are thrown into the air.

The car accelerates in the pursuit of the victims and cutting in it while it changes directly into Malefant Street to Cathays, Cardiff.

The group tries to get out of the way, but pedestrians Abdalrhman Ali and Ryan Jones are hit while their two friends run on Crwys Road.

Newbury was acquitted of attempted murder, but was found guilty of causing serious physical damage with intention, in connection with the car attack in July.

According to next month, Newbury was also found guilty of attempted GBH and a machete in public.

However, Fiteni was not found guilty of all charges.

Both parties had made a booking at the same address by chance.

When the victims Jones and Mr. Ali walked to the building, Newbury and his Employee Fiteni were already there.

CCTV showed men who chased Mr Jones and Mr. Ali, who claimed that their pursuers were the same men who had shouted that night that night.

Judge Jeremy Jenkins said to Newbury: 'You have been found guilty of serious violations.

'Before I pass on a sentence to you, I want to find out from a pre -sentence report whether I would condemn you as a dangerous perpetrator in the sense of the conviction law or not.

“You can expect a considerable period of immediate custody.”

Public Prosecutor Mr. Wilson said that Newbury was identified by the victim that Mr Jones had seen him in a hospital before, and Fiteni admitted that he had been in the car.

The public prosecutor said: 'We state against a background of threats and abuse that he used pursuit with dangerous blades and a heavy vehicle to target pedestrians with a clear risk of deadly serious damage.

“Mr. Newbury was involved in an attack with the intention of killing or at least causing serious injury.”
