The grieving parents of Sudiksha Konanki reportedly asked the Dominican authorities to formally explain that she is dead.

A source with direct knowledge of the research told DailyMail.com that, 11 days after she disappeared during the early hours of 6 March during the spring break in Punta Cana, her family accepted that she will not be found alive.

Her disappearance led to an intense search with multiple authorities, despite the authorities who warned at an early age that she was probably tragically drowned in the rough search.

Now a local source claims her Trefing parents Subbarayudu and Sreedevi have submitted a formally written request to the National Police for a 'legal declaration of death'.

Sudiksha's parents reportedly noticed in the letter that they trust the investigations of the authorities.

They would also reportedly wrote that the young person last worked with their daughter, publicly identified as the 22-year-old Joshua Riibe, completely collaborated with the police.

There is no evidence of cheating, the insider added.

Reportedly, certain legal proceedings must be followed to process the family's request.

They have expressed that they are willing to meet the necessary formalities.

It is a tragic end of the search, 11 days after the pre-media student had disappeared for the first time.

Initially, her parents begged the authorities to broaden the search zone and to take the opportunity that Sudiksha would not drown but was kidnapped instead.

“It's four days, and if she was in water, she would probably be littered on the coast,” Subbarayudu wrote in a statement to the police.

“She wasn't found, so we ask them to investigate multiple options, such as kidnapping or kidnapping.”

They last heard of her during a 20.00 call on the evening of 5 March.

Riibe was the last person who was seen with Sudiksha shortly before 5 am on March 6. They went to the beach after a night of drinking with friends.

He told the police that the couple were going to swim and was eliminated by a large wave. He claimed that he used his lifeguard training to drag her back to the coast, but that the last time he saw her, she was deep in water.

He managed to get out and fainted on a sunbug, he said. Sudiksha was never seen again.

Security cameras of the All-Inclusive Vijfstarshotel showed both Riibe and Konanki broke in a bar at 4:05 am on March 6 before they walked to the beach.

A second camera saw Riibe holding a cup and reducing his arm while having to chase the group at 4.15 am. At about 4:55 am the hotel protection camera system showed two of her friends who returned to the hotel.
