The Texas police investigate the tragic death of a beloved Sheriff representative, while two died within a few days after another.
Harris County Deputy Sheriff Christina Kohler, 37, died of a apparent suicide on 13 March in Houston.
Researchers believe that she has taken her own life, but they are waiting for an autopsy for confirmation.
Maria Vasquez, the representative of another sheriff in Harris County, died of Kohler within a few days.
The circumstances surrounding her death are unclear.

Kohler joined the Sheriff of Harris County in 2018 and recently worked as a bailiff. She was missing on March 12, according to a statement from the Texas Center for the Missing.
The warning emphasized that her disappearance was “a credible threat to her own health and safety.”
“Her name, her life, definitely deserves to be reminded because of her dedication of our profession,” wrote HCSO agent Mark Herman in a sincere tribute to Kohler on Facebook.
Her death led to discussion about those struggling with their mental health within the police.

The HCSO said in a statement on Tuesday that “the mental health and pear support services offers to colleagues of deputy Kohler while mourning her tragic loss.”
