Sir Gareth Southgate has destroyed 'manipulative and poisonous influencers' for leading young men for misogynia.
The former football manager of England spoke in a lecture that was what guys needed, his role models, not people who tell them that they should never show emotion.
The damn comments come after the release of a report earlier this month that boys and young men were 'in crisis', with a 'amazing' increase in those who are not in education, employment or training.
Southgate said that instead of turning to teachers, sports coaches or leaders of youth groups, many were looking for direction online.
He claimed on the annual Richard Dimbleby lecture of the BBC: 'These are callous, manipulative and toxic influencers, whose only drive is for their own profit.
“They mislead willingly young men to believe that success is measured on the basis of money or dominance, that power never means show emotion, and that the world, including women, is against them.”
The former footballer also referred to too many young men who were 'isolated' and said: 'They spend more time online looking for direction and fall into unhealthy alternatives such as gaming, gambling and pornography'.
In addition to politics, Southgate used the lecture as an opportunity to talk about missing the crucial fine in the semi -final of 1996, when England lost to Germany.

He said: 'Missing that punishment was undoubtedly a turning point that made me stronger, a better man.
“It forced me to dig deep and revealed an inner faith and resilience that I never knew existed.”
The English veteran is the newest in a line of academics, managers and other remarkable figures to give the Richard Dimbleby lecture.
It as an event that has been held most years since 1972 in memory of the late broadcaster.
