An important speech by Peter Dutton was crashed by two anti-nuclear demonstrators.
The opposition leader spoke on Thursday morning at the Lowy Institute in Sydney when a member of the audience jumped out of his chair to protest against the pro-nuclear energy policy of the coalition.
The man tried to reveal a blue banner, but was stopped by two guards who quickly bundled him out of the location.
“Mr Dutton, why are you lying against the Australian people about the costs of nuclear?” The man shouted before he was violently removed.
The liberal leader remained undisturbed.
But a moment later he was interrupted again by a man trying to talk about him.
The man was towed away by a guard and fell into the process of another participant.
It marks the second time in the same number of days that protesters have disturbed major speeches.
