Golf legend John Daly is set to make his long -awaited return to the sport, only two months after he was taken to the hospital for emergency operations on his hand.
The 58-year-old was concerned about his well-being when he shared a photo of himself in a hospital bed in January.
In addition to the Snap, he unveiled his 800K followers that he had just undergone surgery because of a problem with his hand, before he promises to 'play back in no time'.
And 64 days after those emergency, Daly is now ready for his first PGA Tour performance of the year at the Hoag classic of this week in Newport Beach, California.
The Cult-Held chain smoke can be seen by the gears on the track at Newport Beach Country Club in a series of videos shared by the Tour on Instagram.

Daly then says in another clip: “It's good to be back,” he said. 'It has been a bit cheeky, but the hand is around 80 percent. So thought I would come here.
'I like to play in the Hoag Classic. Every year the boys are so great. So we will see what happens. '
This week's Hoag Classic starts on Friday and ends on Sunday evening.
When asked how bad his hand injury was, he explained: 'The tendons were all wrapped around each other. [The doctor] Do not understand how I played last year.
