And if you’re on a budget due to the cost of living crisis, you’ll be pleased to hear that this bargain buy from Aldi isn’t too expensive either.

And if that’s not enough, this product is perfect for you if you’re expecting a baby or going through menopause.

A savvy shopper from the UK was stunned to find a handy Specialbuy in the middle aisle of her local Aldi.

Nicole Stephanie Beaman, who is currently pregnant, was so happy with her find that she shared her purchase on social media, causing amazement among many.

Post message on Aldi UK Shoppersa public Facebook group with 294,700 members, Nicole shared a click from her purchase – the Ambiano Handheld Portable Fan.

Alongside the message, the expectant mother wrote: “Pregnancy essential.”

The hand fan is ideal for on the go: whether you are walking outside, are in the sweltering heat on public transport or are on long working days.

Nicole later wrote: “It was £6.99 and came with a charger too.”

The affordable fan is now available in Aldi stores, offering buyers the choice of a black or white variant, depending on their personal style.

The handheld fan is equipped with three fan speeds for maximum comfort, a USB-C charging cable and even a detachable base, so you can also use the fan as a table fan.

Aldi’s latest Specialbuys – and prices start at £3.99

This versatility means you can put it on your desk when you work from home in the summer, or place it next to your bed when it’s too hot to sleep at night.

And if that wasn’t enough, it’s also super compact and foldable, making it the ideal device to fit into even the smallest bag.

Why do Aldi and Lidl have such fast checkouts?

IF you have ever shopped at Aldi or Lidl, you have probably experienced the super-fast checkout staff.

Aldi’s reputation as a fast supermarket is not without reason. The supermarket chain even claims that its checkouts are 40 percent faster than those of competitors.

It’s all part of Aldi’s plan to be as efficient as possible, which, the budget retailer claims, helps keep costs down for customers.

Efficient barcodes on packaging allow employees to scan items as quickly as possible. Most products have multiple barcodes to speed up the process.

Shelf-ready packaging is also used, keeping replenishment costs low.

And for those going to festivals and outings this summer, there is even an integrated Aldi purchase current bank when you are in trouble.

At just £6.99, we think this mid-range buy is very affordable, making it perfect for summer.

What is the best time to shop at Aldi?

IF you’re going to shop at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.

For discounted items – when stores are open

Products with the red sticker are rare in Aldi’s 830 stores in the UK, but the supermarket says it doesn’t waste food, so there are a few out there if you’re quick.

A spokesperson for the supermarket said: “All items are discounted to 50 per cent of the recommended retail price before opening time and on the best-before date.”

This means that you have the best chance of finding discounted groceries if you visit the store as soon as it opens.

Opening hours vary by store, but most are open from 7am or 8am. You can find the opening hours of your nearest store by visiting the online store locator.

For Specialbuys – Thursdays and Sundays

Specialbuys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that the company doesn’t normally sell. These items can range from pizza ovens to power tools.

New stock arrives in stores every Thursday and Sunday, so these are of course the best days to come for the best, unique offers.

For an even greater chance of scoring the best items, visit your local store during opening hours.

But you don’t have to go to the store to get a Specialbuy.

They are also sold online, usually at midnight on Thursdays and Sundays, and you can order them up to a week in advance.

As long as you spend a minimum of £25, items will be shipped for free.

Remember, once they’re gone, they’re gone. So if there’s something you really want, go see it as early as possible.

SOCIAL MEDIA USERS BEAM

Social media users were impressed with the supermarket’s find, with many expressing their opinions in the comments.

Someone said, “And menopause. I need one.”

Another added: “Ooh I’m almost 30 weeks pregnant so I’m definitely getting one!!”

A third commented: “I need this.”

At the same time someone else asked, “Can you tell us how noisy it is?”

To this Nicole wrote back and confirmed: “Not noisy at all. I have used it before.”
