Former Scottish Prime Minister Nicola Sturgeon has been cleaned up in a police investigation into the finances of the SNP

The cover of the memoirs of Nicola Sturgeon was unveiled online earlier this week
The news came to the fore after the alienated husband of Mrs Sturgeon and former SNP director Peter Murrell appeared in the court accused of embezzlement.
The former SNP leader announced that she will stand as the MSP for Glasgow Southide in elections next spring.
Mrs Sturgeon ruled Scottish politics for years before she ran away from the best job in Scotland in March 2023.
Her decision not to stand, despite reports last month that she had received the green light from the party as a candidate.
Mrs Sturgeon will publish a book about her life and political career this summer.
She revealed this week that the title will be 'frankly'.
Invoiced as a 'unique mix of personal insight and fascinating vignettes', the Blurb on online shop site Amazon says that it is 'remarkable because of its honesty and self -reflection'.
It also describes Mrs. Sturgeon as' campaigner. Leader. Pioneer.'
But critics suggested that the track record of the former prime minister meant that it should be filled in the 'fantasy section' of bookshops, adding that she had a 'copper neck' to give it such a title.
Mrs Sturgeon has been working on the book since at least 2023, when publisher Pan Macmillan picked up British rights in a fiercconted auction.
The book, for which she has received an advance of £ 300,000, promises to be a 'personal and revealing memoirs' that maps Mrs Sturgeon's journey of 'working class' Ayrshire to the prime minister of Scotland.

The book will give Mrs. Sturgeon to report her relationship with predecessor Alex Salmond
