I am the most hated mother in the UK and I will not leave a penny to my children, people say I am selfish
A mother of four has caused a stir after revealing she will not be leaving her children an inheritance.
Carla Bellucci explained that she plans to spend all of her savings before she dies.
The 42-year-old woman from Hertfordshire explained why she didn’t leave a penny behind.
“[We] “I do everything for our children, so everything I have, I spend on going on vacation and living the good life,” she said What is there to do?.
“Children have their whole lives to earn money, so I don’t see why we should suffer because of that.”
The glamour model said she will not help her children pay off their debts and does not want to take responsibility for their “mistakes.”
She also referred to her own experience with managing her finances.
“Nobody ever helped me with money, and I managed just fine,” Carla said.
She said she expected her children to take care of her when she was older.
“It’s madness to keep giving [them more]”, she noted.
“It’s not selfish at all. What is selfish is that children expect us to work like dogs and we have to give them everything.”
Carla said she found it difficult to include her ‘hard-earned money’ in her will, saying she planned to ‘spend it all’ before she died.
“I think it’s crazy that people live worthless lives just to be able to give it all to their children,” she said.
“Anyone who criticizes my decision can continue.”
She added that the people who disagree with her are usually “the toothless Karens who don’t have much to come up with.”
Carla says she has spoken to her children about the decision and they respect and understand it.
“They get it now, so don’t worry about the future,” the mother explained.
