Miller Gardner's girlfriend, the 14-year-old son of former Yankees star Brett Gardner, posted a heartbreaking farewell after his death.
The teenager is said to have died of suffocation, after “a possible intoxication after apparently having set some food,” officials in Costa Rica told NBC News.
Authorities investigate the tragedy, of which Gardner and his wife Jessica said they left 'so many questions'.

They continued: “We currently have so many questions and so few answers, but we do know that he died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Friday, March 21.”
