Aesthetic Doctor Reveals How to Get Rid of Wrinkles at Home Without Botox
A cosmetic doctor has revealed the most effective methods to reduce wrinkles without cosmetic injections.
One of her anti-aging tips is a non-invasive way to tackle deeper lines on mature skin.
Dr. Anatalia Moore is the founder of a skin, aesthetics and lifestyle clinic named after him in Manchester, England.
She has extensive experience in offering non-surgical procedures and advises the best skin care for every skin problem.
Speaking to The US Sun, she shared tips for a more youthful look without Botox.
BAN BOTOX
Dr. Moore said it is a “misconception” that toxins are the main treatment for reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
“Anti-wrinkle treatments essentially reduce muscle movement,” she said.
“So if you suffer from motion wrinkles, anti-wrinkle treatments are for you.
“However, if these are permanent lines that you would like to soften, while in the long term anti-wrinkle treatments may work preventatively, there may be another route in the short term.”
She said that “only to a certain extent” can a consistent anti-wrinkle treatment that prevents wrinkles heal existing lines and prevent new ones from forming.

“As the skin ages or lines deepen, this restorative ability needs to be enhanced with regenerative skin care and treatments,” she says.
SKINCARE PRODUCTS
According to Dr. Moore, a “good quality” skin care regimen applied consistently will produce visible results.
“Before you even think about active ingredients, a strong skin barrier and hydrated skin naturally reduce the appearance of lines,” she says.
“This means choosing the right cleanser for you to ensure hydration remains balanced.
“Also replace natural stabilizing oils with a balanced moisturizer that contains ceramides, as well as the go-tos hyaluronic acid and shea butter.”
She said it only takes a few weeks for skin to look smoother once the outer layers of skin are hydrated.
However, active ingredients are needed to restore the internal support structures.
“Active ingredients like retinoids, vitamin C and peptides are among the many things that stimulate collagen and elastin production,” she said.
If the lines are deeper or the skin is more mature, only prescribed doses of active ingredients such as retinoids can achieve a level of healing that softens the lines and reduces wrinkles.

“They are essential to reduce the visibility of firmer and deeper lines.
“Please note that while there are some good products available over the counter, the ‘healing dose’ these products provide may be limited.
“So if the lines are deeper or the skin is more mature, only prescription doses of actives like retinoids can achieve a level of healing that softens the lines and reduces wrinkles.”
HEROIC HEALERS
Dr. Moore recommended following a healthy diet and lifestyle geared toward longevity to keep skin healthy from the inside out.
“Make sure your diet is rich in omega-3, vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc and biotin and supplement with good quality supplements when needed. This will give your skin everything it needs to heal,” she said.
She said it’s important to also prioritize sleep and keep stress levels low.
She indicated that regular exercise and self-care activities slow the chemical aging processes in the body, leading to worse lines and wrinkles.
“And of course, seek shade, wear a wide-brimmed hat and be faithful to your SPF, as UV is responsible for over 80% of signs of skin aging,” she added.
