Miller Gardner's tragic death has taken a devastating turn, since Costa Rican authorities now claim that the son of Yankees champion Brett Gardner may have had a bad response to medication.
Gardner and his wife Jessica made the tragic announcement on Sunday that their 14-year-old son had died of a sudden disease after the whole family fell ill during vacation in the Central American country.
“Miller was a beloved son and brother and we can't understand our lives without his infectious smile,” said Brett and Jessica Gardner.
But his sudden death is confronted with shifting statements because it now seems that the teenager may never have formed a chance after he has potentially received poor medication to treat his illness.
The Land's judicial research police (OIJ) initially attributed Miller's death to 'suffocation as a result of intoxication with regard to food poisoning'.
But then researchers that revealed to CNN Ashyxia was excluded because there was no obstruction of the teenager airways.
Now, according to ABC News, the authorities are investigating whether Miller was allergic to any medicine that he received.

“Our hotel protocol at Arenas del Mar does not allow hotel staff to provide guests medication,” the resort added.
The family is still looking for answers, because it is assumed that an autopsy can take two or three months to be completed.
The police of the nearby city of Quepos are now leading the investigation and has started questioning the resort employees.
Miller and his family stayed at the $ 900 resort on the beach when he was found dead on Friday morning.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Arenas del Mar Resort told DailyMail.com that they were 'deeply saddened by this loss'.
“Our hearts go to the family during this incredibly difficult time,” the hotel said in a statement. 'The factors that have led to this tragic incident are unknown and we work completely with authorities while investigating.
“We are committed to supporting our guests and staff, giving priority to their well -being and safety, with respect for the privacy of the affected ones.”
The exclusive resort is located in the rainforest city of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica.

“He was 14 years old and left us far too quickly after he got sick, along with various other family members during the vacation.”
They continued: “We currently have so many questions and so few answers, but we do know that he died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Friday, March 21.”
Gardner, 41, played 14 seasons with the Yankees between 2008 and 2021 and was part of their World Series-winning team of 2009, which also earned an All-Star selection in 2015.
