Idaho Officers of Justice seem ready to use weather information to pour cold water on Bryan Kherberger's Bizarre Alibi for the night that four students were killed in a house in Moscow.
The 30-year-old PhD students of criminology is confronted with the death penalty when he is trying this summer for the murders of Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Madison Mag and Kaylee Goncalves on November 13, 2022.
The four students from the University of Idaho were brutally stabbed to death in the early hours of the morning in the house outside the campus that the three young women shared with two other housemates.
To date, Kherberger has only offered a vague alibi in which his movements were explained that night.
He claimed, before the Defense Court, that he only drove around alone in the evening on November 12 and in the morning of November 13.
According to a court document in April 2024, the defense claimed that he would often only ride in the middle of the night to walk and run and/or see the moon and stars. '
In the night of the murders, Kherberger drove through the area south of Pullman, Washington, to the west of Moscow, Idaho, including Wawawai Park, “wrote the defense.
But public prosecutors seem to fight to fight back against his alibi.

A new application in the case showed that prosecutors intend to introduce national weather services before 12 and 13 November 2022 as proof.
According to Fox Weather -Meteorologist and digital producer Andrew Wulfeck, the records for those dates will show that the area was dressed in low clouds, fog and reduced visibility at the time of the murders.
“In addition to the fog, the cloud cover seemed to be fairly low, which probably probably contributed to the fact that it was not the biggest night for types of activities such as star review, if you couldn't find a break in the clouds,” he told Fox News.
Wulfeck added that the fog and clouds were predicted before that night.
Kherberger's lawyer Anne Taylor has previously admitted to a court who is not witnesses who are not witnesses who could confirm his alternative version where he was at that time.
Instead, the defense is planning to give witness to an expert in mobile phones to show that he was not in the area around the student house on 1122 King Road when the massacre unfolded.
According to PROsecutors, Kherberger's Witte Elantra was captured on surveillance images to circl the student house and then counting on moments after the murders.
Prosecutors ask that Kherberger is forced to take the position during his trial if he wants to present his alibi to jury members.

'TThe court must introduce an order that prohibits the defendant to present any other evidence other than the defendant himself or by direct or cross -examination, in support of a claimed alibi with regard to 'the specific place or places on which the defendant claims to have been at the time of the alleged offense', the State argued in a recent submission.
In the meantime, Kherberger's defense asks the judge to block the weather registers – together with a whole series of different evidence from his trial.
In a new motion that was submitted on Monday, The defense of the accused murderer attacked a series of evidence in the case of the persecution, claim that much of it is too broad and its relevance is unclear.
As part of this, the defense focused on surveillance images from the Night of the murders, are Venmo And PayPal Activity, and the bank details of him and the victims.
It is not clear what the content of this data shows or what relevance they can have for the perspective case.
The submission also points to a purchase of Kherberger at Sportswear Company Under Armor on June 24, 2022 – five months before the creepy murders.
The same month, Kherberger made a purchase at Dick's Sporting Goods, according to the records.
The document does not reveal what Kherberger has bought in both store.

According to the application, the defense also wants to prevent the student records from Kherberger from the University of University in Pennsylvania from presenting the student records, where he obtained a master's degree in psychology.

Several calls and messages were made to the victims – but they all remained unanswered.
Just before noon – about eight hours later, a 911 call was made and the massacre was discovered.

After the right attempts had taken down to get the DNA evidence of DNA and the Amazon store history that is thrown away, it is now expected that the defense claims that the evidence was planted by the real murderer on the spot -encourage him for the shocking crime.
The defense of Kherberger also claims that there were several murderers who could have killed all four of them for all four of them within such a short period of time.
His defense also claims that he has a physical condition that would have made it impossible for him to kill four in the time frame of about 13 minutes – while promising to point his trial to various alternative suspects.
The Kherberger team has previously pointed to another DNA certificate that was found on the spot that is not the suspect – including the blood of two mysterious men, one on the handrail of a stairwell and the other on a glove that is found outside.
A three -person mixture from DNA was also found under the nails of MAG, where testing did not come back convincingly for Kherberger and various other individuals.
Kherberger was arrested on December 30, 2022 in the house of his parents in the Poconos region in Pennsylvania and was accused of the four murders.
A non -guilty plea was introduced on behalf of him in his preliminary guide.
After more than two years, his trial was finally started in Ada County in August.

Kherberger is confronted with the death penalty if they are convicted – an outcome that has been welcomed by some families of the victims.
Due to the changes to the Studies Act, he could be executed by shooting Squad.
Kherberger is the next place in April in court.
