I catfished my own boyfriend – when he found out he tried to play the victim
A BOYFRIEND may be back on the market after his girlfriend catfishes him online.
She adopted a whole new image and even said she got a kick out of the dating crisis.
Reddit user Catfishingbf told the story in a post full of unexpected twists with the man she had been looking at engagement rings with.
The problems started when she found out that her boyfriend had cheated on her. After he begged her forgiveness, she took him back.
Two weeks later she took him back, but her friend found him on Tinder.
“So I made a fake Tinder guy called ‘Anne,'” she said. “Anne found him, swiped right, [and] “We had an instant match.”
HANDLING IT WELL
The Redditor said that her boyfriend started sending explicit photos of himself early in the conversation.
Her boyfriend asked her to meet him that evening for sex at the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant chain, which he had chosen.
She wanted to enter the establishment, sat down and openly talked about ‘Anne’.
The Redditor also noticed that the table had three chairs, because her boyfriend also wanted to stay over at “Anne’s friend’s house.”
She said she had left the restaurant but her boyfriend had followed her home.
“He looks so shocked,” she said.
TIME TO GO
After a while, the boyfriend left the Redditor’s house, but she found herself happier than she expected.
“At one point he even tried to tell me that he knew I was catfishing him,” she said.
“No, he didn’t. He’s trying to play the victim and claims he knew I was doing all this to him.
“I actually feel really good about myself right now and I feel really rushed.”
The next day, the fake friend contacted her.
“He just texted me and asked, ‘Are you still upset about last night?’ He didn’t respond,” she added.
The post attracted many Redditors who shared their opinions on the matter.
“Reading this was damn satisfying,” one person wrote. “Too bad you had to deal with a piece of shit like him. Hugs.”
“Oh my god this was amazing I wish you the best move on he doesn’t love you and doesn’t deserve you,” added another.
“This is amazing,” a third commented. “I’m so sorry but you’ve totally got him.”
