A greenlandic tourist company that was due to host Usha Vance has canceled the trip in the midst of the 'underlying agenda' of the Trump administration for the visit.

President Trump has made no secret of his ambition to annex Greenland and the local population has made his observed stealth mission during the coming trip of the second lady.

Tupilak Travel in Nuuk revealed on Facebook on Facebook that the American consulate had reached them to plan a meet-and-greet with USSha.

She wanted to visit their souvenir shop on Friday as part of her trip.

“We replied she would like to be,” said the shop owner. “Everyone is welcome in the store.”

It was initially invoiced as a family -friendly holiday with USSha and one of her children to immerse themselves in the Greenland culture and to visit the annual dog sled competition.

When it turned out that she would be accompanied by controversial national security adviser Mike Waltz, who wake anger among the leaders of the nation – including the prime minister.

But the last drop came when USha's husband, vice -president JD Vance, revealed that he would also come to her on the journey – with the argument that he did not want to miss all the pleasure.

“After accurate consideration, however, we have now informed the consulate that we do not want her visit,” said the store.

'We cannot accept the underlying agenda and will not be part of the press that it will of course come with it.

“No, thanks to a nice visit … Greenland is from the Groenlanders.”

The vans will now visit the US Space Force Outpost at Pituffik, on the northwest coast of Greenland, instead of the previously announced Solo trip from USSha Vance to the Avanaata Qimussersu Dogsled Race.

“I have to speak diplomatically here, but in many ways it is a masterful twist to make it look like they escalate when they really de-escalate,” Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen said the Danish broadcaster Dr. On Wednesday earlier.

But Løkke also said it was' positive 'that'Americans have canceled their visitors under Greenland society.

“They will only visit their own base, PituFik, and we have nothing against that.”

Trump had previously doubled on his controversial desire to take over the island and tell PodCaster Vince Coglianese: 'We need Greenland for international safety and safety.

“We need it. We must have it. I hate it so to speak, but we will have to have it. '

Vance, in an online video, said he came to his wife because he “didn't want her to have all this pleasure alone.” He added that he would “just see what's going on with the security there from Greenland.”

“We want to breathe new life into the security of Greenland because we think it is important to protect the security of the whole world,” Vance said.

The change in plans will also reduce the chance that the vans will cross paths with residents who are angry with Trump's attempts to annex the island, which is a semi-autonomous Danish territory.

“The cars (from the American in advance security detail) that were delivered a few days ago are sent back home, and the wife of the American vice president and the national security adviser will not visit the Greenlandic Society,” said Løkke.

“The case is obstructed and that is positive,” he added.

The decision to visit an American military basis has also removed the risk of violating potential diplomatic taboos by sending a delegation to another country without an official invitation.

Greenland leaders made it clear that the American delegation was neither invited or desired.

Greenland is strategically important for the US Army and its ballistic rocket early warning system.

It contains an impressive position in the Arctic, like a buffer between North America and Russia.

The island, which is three times as large for Texas, has no army and relies on Denmark for protection.

An agreement of 1951 between the United States and Denmark has set up an American law to move freely and to build military bases in Greenland, as long as Denmark and Greenland are informed.

Originally, the Usha Vance office said that the second lady would arrive in Greenland on Thursday and return on Saturday.

The Prime Minister of Greenland, Mute Eede, called the journey “very aggressive” when he heard that Waltz also became a member.

Eede noted that “it has not extended invitations for visits, neither private nor officially.”

Denmark shot the visit and called it part of an 'unacceptable pressure' on them.

'It is clearly not a visit that relates to the needs or wishes of Greenland. That is why I have to say that it is an unacceptable pressure exerted on Greenland and Denmark – and we will record the pressure, “Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen told Danish broadcasters DR and TV2.

“President Trump is serious,” she said. “He wants Greenland.”
