Thanks to Aldi, you can now find a wide selection of essential purchases for the nursery, pram and more.

And now that the weather is getting warmer, we’re sure the stroller fan and swim diapers will come in very handy.

And if you’re on a budget due to the low cost of living, don’t worry: you don’t have to spend too much money, as these mid-range bargains are all very affordable.

Prices start from just 79p and there is a huge variety of baby items – from toys and clothes to feeding products, muslin nappies and books.

Aldi posted a message on Instagram giving shoppers a closer look at the new Specialbuys, which surprised many.

Alongside the short clip, the beloved chain wrote: “Our Baby Event is back and we have the cutest items in store!

“Now go to the middle aisle for all the baby supplies.”

For just £5.99 we have a great selection of pram essentials including a clip on sun canopy and colour changing UV indicator, perfect for keeping your little one cool in hot weather.

In addition, there is a luxurious clip-on fan that is also perfect for combating the heat.

And if that wasn’t enough, there are also bathroom items on sale, such as bath mats for £9.99.

The latest Specialbuys from Aldi

To ensure your little one doesn’t go anywhere they shouldn’t, Aldi also sells safety gates for £17.99.

And if you plan to take your baby swimming to cool him or her down this summer, reusable swimming trunks will definitely come in handy.

Special deals are available until sold out

A pack of three costs just £9.99. Not only are they lightweight, they also prevent nasty poop from being released into the air.

And if that’s not enough, there are also some great bargains to brighten up your little one’s bedroom, such as stylish wall-height tables for just £3.99.

Why do Aldi and Lidl have such fast checkouts?

IF you have ever shopped at Aldi or Lidl, you have probably experienced the super-fast checkout staff.

Aldi’s reputation as a fast supermarket is not without reason. The supermarket chain even claims that its checkouts are 40 percent faster than those of competitors.

It’s all part of Aldi’s plan to be as efficient as possible, which, the budget retailer claims, helps keep costs down for customers.

Efficient barcodes on packaging allow employees to scan items as quickly as possible. Most products have multiple barcodes to speed up the process.

Shelf-ready packaging is also used, keeping replenishment costs low.

The clip on social media, which was shared on the official @aldispecialbuysuk account, has clearly made an impression on many, as it has collected almost 1,400 likes in just 18 hours.

Social media users were left open-mouthed at the new Specialbuys, with many responding en masse to the comments.

What is the best time to shop at Aldi?

IF you’re going to shop at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.

For discounted items – when stores are open

Products with the red sticker are rare in Aldi’s 830 stores in the UK, but the supermarket says it doesn’t waste food, so there are a few out there if you’re quick.

A spokesperson for the supermarket said: “All items are discounted to 50 per cent of the recommended retail price before opening time and on the best-before date.”

This means that you have the best chance of finding discounted groceries if you visit the store as soon as it opens.

Opening hours vary by store, but most are open from 7am or 8am. You can find the opening hours of your nearest store by visiting the online store locator.

For Specialbuys – Thursdays and Sundays

Specialbuys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that the company doesn’t normally sell. These items can range from pizza ovens to power tools.

New stock arrives in stores every Thursday and Sunday, so these are of course the best days to come for the best, unique offers.

For an even greater chance of scoring the best items, visit your local store during opening hours.

But you don’t have to go to the store to get a Specialbuy.

They are also sold online, usually at midnight on Thursdays and Sundays, and you can order them up to a week in advance.

As long as you spend a minimum of £25, items will be shipped for free.

Remember, once they’re gone, they’re gone. So if there’s something you really want, go see it as early as possible.

Meanwhile, a mom tagged her sister and wrote, “I need the umbrella and fan, sis!”

“Please keep an eye on me.”

While another Aldi fan commented: “When does it end?”

To this Aldi responded: “Special items are available until they sell out.”
