Little House on the prairie actress Patty Maloney died at the age of 89.
Her death was confirmed by her brother, Dave Myrabo, who told the Hollywood reporter that she had been hired on Monday 31 March.
The 3-foot-11 actress was in Hospice care in Winter Park, Florida. She had sustained 'different' strokes in the years before.
“For a small person who grew up in a big world, she did everything she wanted to do,” Myrabo said.
In addition to her performances at Little House on the prairie, Maloney is also known for playing Chewbacca's son Lumpy in the Star Wars Holiday Special and Honk in The Sid & Marty Kofft Series Far Out Space Nuts.
The health problems of Maloney started in 2010 with an age -related macular degeneration (AMD) diagnosis, according to Men's Journal.

AMD is an eye condition that can cause blurred or reduced central vision and cause a common cause of loss of vision in older adults.
She also appeared in the Wizard of Oz function under the Rainbow in 1981, as well as in episodes of Little House on the Prairie, Charlie's Angels, Trapper John, MD, The Love Boat and more.
She also played Darla Hood in the animated TV series version of The Little Rascals and appeared in Star Trek: Voyager in 1996.
Patty, born Patricia Anne Maloney, was a resident of Perkinsville, New York.
However, she was raised in Winter Park, Florida, by her mother and stepfather.
During her childhood she performed in carnival and circuses.
She married Joseph Vitek in 1961 and worked during their marriage as a Keypunch operator at Clipper Carloading in Chicago.
After the death of Vitek by melanoma in 1968, her friends suggested that she returned to performance as a means to deal with her grief.

From 1982, Maloney expanded her career to record animation case, to work on the pilot 'Monopoly' Game Show and dolling the crypt keeper on 'Tales from the crypt'.
She also appeared in 'Ernest Saves Christmas' in addition to Buddy Douglas, and in 2011, when she explored the 'Star Wars Holiday Special' in the documentary 'Hanlet: Episode 4½ – Attack of the Phantom Special'.
Especially in 1988 she expressed Tanis de Mummie in 'Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School', alongside Jeff Cohen, Glynis Johns and Casey Kasem.
