In 2021 talking about how dealing with her medical state her formed, Jones insisted that it had only made her mentally stronger.
“I have had experiences that many do not have at my age, and I think that has formed me to the person I am today,” she said.
'It will have had an impact on my mental strength and my mentality and mentality as a whole, but I am sure that everyone is going through hardships and has adversity in their own way. The story of everyone makes a person they are. '
Jones explained how a specialist who had told her that she had never played professionally added: 'His comments played a huge role in my life decisions and career obligations up to date.

Jones is friends with colleague Brit Emma Raducanu, and they played with Katie Boulter for Great Britain in the Billie Jean King Cup.
Jones and Raducanu also spent time in each other's company, away from the court, and were spotted together last summer for lunch shortly after Raducanu was beaten from Wimbledon.
Raducanu had received a recoil from tennis fans after he withdrew from the mixed doubles with Andy Murray to bring his Wimbledon career to an abrupt end.
But she had the support of Jones while they took a walk and dinner together in London.
