A police officer got stuck while he is preparing to combat accusations. He sexually abused a woman in a hotel room during an interstate vacation.
Victorian senior agent Taylor Johnson was out of service and spent the weekend in Sydney on March 23 when he reportedly raped a 38-year-old woman in a hotel.
The NSW police started an investigation into the alleged incident after a reference of the sexual offenses of their southern counterparts and unity of the family.
The 32-year-old officer was arrested on Wednesday when his colleagues from the Victoria police performed a house search order in his house in the northeast of Melbourne.
The police awarded, Johnson, on Thursday, faced a Sydney court for the first time to urge adapted circumstances with which he could live in Victoria.
He was supported by his mother, whose court was told that he was willing to take her son to Melbourne to ensure that he would not come close to an international airport.
In Downing Center Local Court, Magistraat Greg Grogin applied a series of bail conditions, including a ban on leaving Victoria, except to attend the court in NSW.
Johnson was also forbidden to contact the alleged victim and approached within 200 meters from where she works or lives or publishes material about her online.
