The 76-year-old was briefly observed and forced him to cancel a planned trip to Birmingham, but he returned that evening to Clarence House on 'good form' and could do some work.

The short stay in the hospital was dubbed by royal sources, a 'small bump in the way' – and the king followed it with an almost – normal, full working week in Windsor Castle, after a weekend of recovery in Highgrove.

This week's schedule included its state tasks, two public assignments and an investment ceremony – in which Gardener and Omroep Alan Titchmarsh grant a CBE, among other things.

Royal commentator Phil Damper told the Express that the king looked like he had been 'in very good form' this week.

He said: “He will go around and look forward to it enormously. These trips abroad, where he does things that he really does, are the perfect way to help his physical and mental health. '

The visit will celebrate the UK and the warm relationships of Italy with a total of 17 engines – but with the Vatican visit canceled because of the pope's own continuous health problems.

And although details of the regulations are a secret so far, it is very likely that at a certain moment in the evening, when toast is made, the special day of the king and the queen are recognized.

The couple married on April 9, 2005, during a civil wedding ceremony in the Guildhall in Windsor, followed by a religious blessing in St George's Chapel on the Windsor Castle site.

Sources close to the couple say that they are 'not those for a hassle'.

Traditionally, two decades of marriage are celebrated with a gift from China, but Buckingham Palace has not revealed whether the couple is planning to exchange presents.

While the wedding of Charles and Camilla, after the end of their respective first marriages, was considered a threat to the future of the monarchy at the time, it turned out to be one of the most sustainable love stories of the royal family.

They dated for the first time in the 1970s, but started marrying other people: in the King the King the late Diana, Princess of Wales, while Camilla married army officer Andrew Parker Bowles.

They resume their relationship in the mid -1980s and were eventually engaged in 2004, with the blessing of the deceased queen.

Mr Dampier said that this week the king seemed to be 'in very good form' – and 'very happy', especially with the investments, with Titchmarsh his friend of 40 years old.

Two-time world champion Heptathlete Katarina Johnson-Thompson, a MBE awarded during the ceremony, said that the prince was in 'good mood': “I am happy to see that he is fit and good.”
