Karlie Kloss Admits Motherhood Has Changed Her ‘More Than I Could Have Imagined’
KARLIE Kloss has traveled the world shooting Vogue covers, walking haute couture runways and hosting reality TV shows.
However, the supermodel told The US Sun that it has become “harder” to focus on herself since becoming a mother.
Karlie and her husband, Joshua Kushner, welcomed their eldest son, Levi, in March 2021.
Baby number two Elijah followed in July 2023.
“For me, parenthood has opened my heart, my life, and my understanding of and deep empathy for our collective human experience in more ways than I could ever have imagined,” the 31-year-old told The US Sun.
But it also means a different approach to staying healthy.
“My health and wellness needs have changed over time,” she continued.
“What I need now as a mother is very different from what I needed when I was starting my career.
“Since becoming a mother of two, it has become more difficult to find time to prioritize my well-being.
“I have two other people to take care of, so now it’s a matter of being efficient.”
So it’s fitting timing that she’s added another gig to her agenda: the latest campaign for star of wellness brand Thorne.
Taking nutritional supplements has become an integral part of her daily routine.
“I’m busy all day long, so I like to start my morning with my supplements and a smoothie so I’m set up for success,” she says.
Her favorites include vitamin B complex, which she says supports her nervous system and “promotes cellular energy production.”
“In other words, it creates an energetic body and mind,” she explains.
“I’m constantly on the road and constantly switching gears, so that’s incredibly important to me.”
She also likes the brand’s Memoractiv, as it keeps her “brain sharp” and supports her “overall health and mental capacity.”

“As I’ve become busier, I’ve become more aware of how important it is to ensure my health and wellbeing are on point,” she said.
The Kode With Klossy founder also shared her tips for combating brain fog in a press release.
“Listen to your body,” she urged.
“When you find yourself experiencing brain fog, take some time to rest or take a power nap.
“If that doesn’t work, feed your brain the right foods, like leafy greens, avocados, eggs, and salmon.”
