Dover Heights Arrest: Two Men Wearing Balaclavas Caught at John Ibrahim’s Home

Two men wearing balaclavas have been arrested near John Ibrahim’s home in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. One of them was carrying a firearm.
The pair were spotted acting suspiciously before police were called to the scene on George Street near Dover Heights shortly before 9am on Thursday.
One of the men fled on foot before being arrested, while the second man chased police until he was apprehended and handcuffed.
“A police operation in the Eastern Suburbs has concluded following a pursuit this morning,” a New South Wales Police spokesperson said.
‘Officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command have arrested two men. Enquiries are ongoing.
Shortly after the arrest, detectives were seen speaking with Ibrahim at his home.
Police had cordoned off roads leading to Dover Heights as a PolAir helicopter circled above the affluent seaside suburb in pursuit of the two men.
Later, around 10am, a black Range Rover was seen leaving the area under police escort.

Police intervened after the two men wearing balaclavas were spotted near the house in broad daylight. Both were later arrested.
