Donald Trump Jr.'s new socialite girlfriend and his ex-fiance were forced to share a room Sunday night while attending pre-inauguration events.

Bettina Anderson, 38, was seen with her new boyfriend in a stunning dark ballroom dress at a candlelight dinner for President-elect Donald Trump at the National Building Museum on January 19.

She had made her political debut earlier in the evening, appearing in a Trump family photo as they gathered for a fireworks display at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, ahead of Monday's swearing-in ceremony.

Meanwhile, Don Jr.'s ex-fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle, 55, posted a photo to her Instagram of her at the same dinner, wearing a tight white dress.

She was also seen at the Republican-leaning Spanish Inauguration Ball the night before, alongside her former boyfriend.

To avoid such an awkward clash, allies of newly elected President Donald Trump had tried to keep Anderson away.

Sources have exclusively told DailyMail.com that Don Jr.'s new flame isn't “MAGA enough” and that her infamous reputation as a Palm Beach party girl doesn't mesh well with the first family's A-list Mar-A-Lago clientele.

She had kept a relatively low profile since DailyMail.com exclusively revealed her relationship with the former first son last summer.

But Trump's inauguration will mark the new couple's first public event.

Guilfoyle will also be there, and – sources say – is expected to sit next to the family in her new role as US ambassador to Greece.

“Anderson should be there, so there will be some tension with both her and Guilfoyle in the room,” said Kelly Laco, editor-in-chief of Politics for DailyMail.com and host of a new podcast.

“But from what I've seen and from what we've heard from sources, the two, Don Jr. and Kimberly, still a cordial relationship…

“She recently posted for his birthday and shared photos of herself with their family and the kids, kind of like a big blended family with his ex-wife.”

Welcome to the first episode of Magaland, which also revealed who is expected to sit next to Trump – especially since the ceremony was moved to the Capitol on Monday due to extremely low temperatures.

The VIP guests will include many names who no longer appear to be hiding their support for Trump or have switched to the Republican Party, including Amber Rose and artists Carrie Underwood and Billy Ray Cyrus.

The country's tech giants, including Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Sam Altman and Elon Musk, are also expected to attend.

Guilfoyle was also seen at the Republican-leaning Hispanic Inaugural Ball the night before, standing next to her former boyfriend.

“The 'tech oligarchy', as Joe Biden seemed to call them in his farewell speech, will all be there to support the new president,” lead US reporter Germania Rodriguez Poleo said on Friday's episode of Welcome to Magaland.

“They're all going to sit together and kind of represent this new tech American power.”

But there are also some notable people who chose not to attend, like Michelle Obama and Nancy Pelosi, and the first episode of Welcome to Magaland delves into their possible reasons, as well as rumors of trouble in paradise for the Obamas.
