Struggling to sleep? Maybe you should invest in a new bed, friend. And if you have never thought about adding some sleep-specific (or at least, on Sunday cold-specific) stereo speakers to get up for the best shut-eye session of your life, well … maybe you should do that.
Look, it’s not every day you have one terribly High-end bed with some terribly High-end speakers built in. But that’s what you look at here.
I just have to look at the seventy -five, a collaboration between audio specialist Kef and Savoir, a British bed maker since 1905, to feel a little more relaxed about life. That is, until I see the price …
Rest is the sweet sauce of work
Imagine those 10 hand-cut panels, gently bent around your crown and discreetly two glorious CI3160REFM, THX Ultra-certified KEF speakers. Don’t worry, they are just just dragged well because they are in the penultimate panels around the bed, right?
Why would you be seventy -five? Because that is long considered the ideal number of beats per minute that should have a musical track to help you relax.
Music is the answer
With Kef’s magnetic removable schedules you can hide or reveal the speakers in your ambitious bed, but I am sure Best stereo speakers We had the pleasure to test.
The core of each speaker within the seventy-five lies Kef’s 12th generation Signature Driver Array, UNI-Q (own technology found in all KEF-Stereo speakers, about which you can read more in our KEF LSX II LT Review).
However, the sound system here is completed with six (yes, six) Kef Kube 8b subwoofers, discreet installed in the base of the bed. These subwoofers have Kef’s IBX technology to expand the bass depth, but make no mistake, in bed amplifiers, drivers and sealed cupboards are all here on board a sound system that has been selected and coordinated by KEF’s team in Maidstone, UK.
And so to bed
What about the bit on which you sleep? Well, if you think you have read about Savoir within the digital pages of TechRadar today, you are not wrong today; See the brand in our 7 most expensive mattresses in the world article not so long ago.
But this is expensive with added expensive KEF speakers. Savoir tells me that the London Bedworks for more than 150 hours of handcraft in the five -sided, to deliver “a masterpiece of sleeping comfort”. And while you get music, no headphones or threads are needed – the Savoir team also has wireless charging ports in the side tables of the bed, so that your devices can be switched on if you leave.
Ready for some prices? OK. But maybe sit down. Remember that this is a piece of furniture that is designed for how people actually use their bedrooms today: reading, listening, watching, closing … and it is an investment.
In the US, seventy -five will cost you from $ 68,605 for a king; In the United Kingdom it is £ 51,385 for a super king (because beds are actually different about the pond). Maybe one for the apartment in St. Barts …
Maybe you like it too
