She lay in bed, wrapped in a white towel, discussing what social media has done to society.
'Personally, I think one day there will be the most incredible rule,” began Chrissy – who evacuated her home with her family during the LA fires.he video.
“I think the government, or some kind of ethics committee – someone – should shut down social media between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
'Everyone can do whatever they want, but only between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Turn it off. Done,” she continued.

The mother of four reassured her younger fans that there was life before social media and it was pretty awesome.
'Guys, life has been great. “Life before this was great,” she said. “I know it's hard to see it now. But it is doable. It is very doable.
“This doesn't have to be our life. And I also say this for myself because – of course – I am here [social media] do this now. But it doesn't have to define us or encompass our entire lives,” she concluded.
Before TikTok went dark, Chrissy predicted that Donald Trump would use it as a power play to make himself look like a savior.
To be clear, Trump originally called for the ban, Joe Biden said he would not enforce the ban on Friday, and the platform itself posted strange messages saying Trump would keep the app when US users tried to access the service on Saturday night .
'Let's talk about TikTok. Everyone is disappointed: “OMG, I can't believe it's closed.” It will not be closed,” she said.
'[TikTok] is on hiatus for now and will be back. And it will come back under Trump's leadership, so every young person will say, “OMG, I'm so grateful that he brought it back, he brought back freedom of speech.”
“It's being claimed by him as something great he's done for people, and you're all going to fall for it right away.”

On Sunday, Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to talk about his plans to save TikTok, which he originally wanted banned in 2020 because he saw it as a security threat.
'I ask companies not to let TikTok stay dark! “I will issue an executive order on Monday to extend the period before the bans go into effect so we can reach a deal to protect our national security,” he wrote.
“The order will also confirm that there is no liability for any company that helped prevent TikTok from going dark before my order.”
Again, Biden said no fines or liabilities would be imposed as the ban took effect late Saturday.
Chrissy, her husband John Legend and their four children Luna, Miles, Esti and Wren have a lot more to think about than just TikTok.
The family was evacuated during the LA fires and took refuge in a hotel.
Posting on Instagram, she wrote: 'Four children, four dogs and a bearded dragon walk into a hotel' as the puppies ran around the room.
She and her husband sat on hotel beds as they waited to find out if the fire would spread to near their home.

She shared several clips on her Story featuring the family's bearded dragon Sebastian, telling her fans that they couldn't have left him at home.
Earlier in the day, she said she was packing to leave the house.
“This is surreal,” she captioned a mirror selfie from her closet as she held her hand over her mouth. 'I'm very scared now. Packaging.'
She was standing next to a black suitcase and was believed to be gathering her most prized possessions before fleeing.
In an earlier post to her Instagram Story, she admitted she was at a loss for words as she described the out-of-control bushfires as a “hellscape.”
“Right now we're doing okay, and I felt weird saying that with so many people we know and don't know who are not okay,” she wrote. 'Thank you for reaching out. If you are currently looking for ways to help our community, please submit everything you see.
The former Sports Illustrated swimsuit girl concluded her post by writing, “And God bless the firefighters and all the first responders.”
