Inauguration Day is always observed on January 20, while MLK Day – which honors the civil rights leader around his birthday – is celebrated on the third Monday of January every year.
It's only the third time the two days have overlapped, the first being on Bill Clinton's inauguration day and the second for Barack Obama's ceremony in 2013.

The United States Postal Service (USPS) and all post offices are closed on Mondays.
UPS
Most services will be closed and UPS domestic, air and international shipments will not be active.
