Tragic update after little boy, 5, was crushed by a parking meter outside Bunbury Museum

A five-year-old boy who was crushed after a disused parking meter fell on him has died in hospital.

Paramedics were called to the Bunbury Museum south of Perth at 10.30am on Wednesday after the boy was hit by the parking meter in the courtyard.

He died on Friday at Perth Children's Hospital.

The cause of the parking meter falling is being investigated.
