President Trump was surrounded by tech titans and media moguls as he was formally named the 47th President of the United States.
Other public figures who breached the Capitol Rotunda included podcaster Joe Rogan, media mogul Rupert Murdoch and other dignitaries.
Celebrities outside the roundabout, meanwhile, shared their joy at him taking the reins of the country.
This included the likes of Vince Vaughn, who was spotted in DC on Monday, and Kim Kardashian who shared a cryptic post on her social media.

Comedian and actor Rob Schneider was in Washington DC on Monday for the inauguration ceremony.
He shared posts of himself watching the ceremony and wrote, “Let's all advocate for America! TOGETHER we can achieve ANYTHING and TOGETHER there is NOTHING that will hold us back! USA IS BACK!!”
Schneider later shared a video of himself celebrating with other MAGA supporters at Capital One Arena in DC.
In his clip, the Trump family is seen standing next to Vice President J.D. Vance in front of the crowd as bands play for their arrival.

Kim Kardashian made a political statement by sharing a photo of Melania Trump at Donald Trump's presidential inauguration on Monday.
The reality star, 44, posted a photo of new First Lady Melania in a chic black suit and hat to her Instagram Story – sparking a wave of comments on social media.
Kardashian has never spoken publicly about who she supported in the 2024 presidential election, in which Trump triumphed over Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.
However, she has aligned herself with Trump supporter and Department of Efficiency head Elon Musk and has a close friendship with Trump's daughter Ivanka.

Ahead of his speech, the noted Trump supporter had shared a video of himself interacting with soldiers stationed in DC.
He also posted clips of Trump's swearing-in, adding, “Trump takes the oath! Ladies and gentlemen, it's official.'

Actor and comedian Vince Vaughn donned a tuxedo as he attended the Starlight Ball in Washington on Monday night.
The self-described libertarian posed for photos with fans as the festivities continued into the night.
He should have defended himself earlier after shaking hands with Trump and having a conversation with him.
The 50-year-old Wedding Crashers star claimed he had “always been cordial to” several politicians in the past, even figures on the left.
The two chatted briefly before the actor shook hands with Trump, then waved to some of the president's entourage as he stood to leave.

Mike Tyson
Footage emerged on Monday evening showing Mike Tyson being hoisted into the air by his in-ring foe Jake Paul.
The former heavyweight champion was seen climbing onto the shoulders of his former rival as spectators chanted words of encouragement.
Paul, 27, lifted the 58-year-old with relative ease as Iron Mike screamed in excitement. Both men were dressed in sleek tuxedos for the black-tie event.
Paul, the influencer turned boxer who endorsed Trump days before the election, captioned the post “best friends” and tagged Tyson.
Tyson didn't formally endorse the president this time, but the former heavyweight champion has said complimentary things about Trump over the past three decades.
Their relationship dates back to the 1980s, when Trump hosted some of Tyson's fights in the gambling town of Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Candace Bure
Full House star Candace Bure had shared a litany of posts on her Instagram profile as Trump was sworn in.
Earlier in the morning, she had posted, “Happy Inauguration Day,” alongside photos of President Trump and First Lady Melania.
She also shared other images of Vice President JD Vance and his wife Usha, as well as a video of Carrie Underwood's performance.
In another post she had described it as an 'exciting day'.

Superman actor Dean Cain, 58, was in the capital on Monday and shared a photo of him near the White House on his social media.
He told GB News: 'I would call Trump the real Superman, I'm very excited for today. I just think it's a whole new dawn.
“They will lead in a different way than the previous government, look no further than today's pardon. It looks so corrupt.”
Cain said he had been in town to organize the parade after the ceremony, but it had to be canceled due to freezing temperatures.

Elsewhere in Washington DC, other MAGA celebrities were seen at the three official opening celebrations, including the Commander in Chief Ball, the Liberty Ball and the Starlight Ball.
Pete Hegseth, Trump's nominee to lead the Defense Department, laughed at Commander-in-Chief Ball.
Kid Rock, who performed at Trump's pre-inauguration rally on Sunday night, was photographed taking selfies with fans, throwing back a drink or two and smoking a cigar.
The country music star, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, recently said that more celebrities than ever are comfortable publicly voicing their support for Trump now that “change is in the air.”
Hulk Hogan appeared with Jesse Watters during Fox News' coverage of the Liberty Ball. The former WWE wrestler was giddy about Trump's win and then ripped off his shirt before pretending to wrestle Watters live on air.
Other famous faces seen on Inauguration Day were included podcaster Theo VonLogan Paul and Conor McGregor.
