Liam Payne Fans have been brought into tears as Netflix has confirmed the release date of the new music competition of the deceased singer, Building the Band.
Filmed before the One direction stars death in October 2024The new 10-part series will see talented singers fighting for a chance to form the next great band Sight Unseen.
Payne serves as a guest judge in the series – which is organized by Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean – next to Destiny’s Child Star Kelly Rowlandwhile Nicole Scherzinger Serves as a mentor and judge.
Together the trio bring their ‘unparalleled expertise and personal bander experience to the competition’.
Netflix had finished filming the show prior to the sudden death of the former One Direction star and has since confirmed that his family has assessed the series and supports his recording.
The streaming giant announced on Wednesday that the first four episodes of the show will be launched on July 9.
New episodes will roll out every Wednesday in the course of 10 episodes.
The fans of Payne expressed their destruction while responding to the announcement news.

“Heartbreaking to see Liam Payne in this poster,” wrote another. ‘It will be his last project forever. I’m going to cry my eyes and look at this show. ‘
A third continued: ‘Oh Liam … you should have been here. Your message that this poster shares, with excitement and passion should have been the one I saw first.

“Building the band brings together talented singers for a truly unique competition show where building the perfect band is all about chemistry,” is the official synopsis of the show.

Fans around the world were stunned by his death and an outpouring of grief culminated in a moving funeral attended by musical royalties and all his former bandmates.
His medical cause of death was announced as ‘polytrauma’, a term that means that a person has multiple traumatic injuries to his body.
Payne was one of the five members of Hit Boyband One Direction next to Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan.
The band was formed on Simon Cowell’s The X Factor before he became an international sensation.
They split in 2016 after Zayn decided to leave the band.
