A huge explosion has blown the side of a residential building SydneyInner west with one person pulled out of the rubble and caught much more and not justified.
Shortly after 6.30 am on Friday, the unit block on Clarence Street in Lidcombe was startled by a loud explosion when the entire wall of an apartment was destroyed.
Firefighters, paramedics and police rushed to the stage to partially collapse part of the building, causing debris to the street and hit vehicles below.
NSW Ambulance confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that two people were taken to the hospital.
A man in the forty was transported to the Westmead Hospital in a serious state with burns in his hands and face.
Another man, in his 60s, was brought to the Auburn Hospital with the breathing of smoke.
Specialist rescue teams remain on site in a desperate attempt to find and free those who are not yet responsible.
