An international football player collapsed frightening during a top match last night.
Colombia Full-back Andres Felipe Roman, 29, was in action for Atletico Nacional against Santa Fe.
Only 12 minutes after the game, Roman collapsed with the touchline with no one around him.
Deeply concerned employees waved frantically to medical help when the football player was unconscious.
An ambulance was then driven past the touchline.
Fortunately, Roman returned to consciousness and was able to gently walk to the ambulance.
The former Treble winner was replaced by a teammate
Joan Sebastian Castro Dinas and later underwent an electrocardiogram.
An encouraging club statement continued to confirm: “The Electrocardiogram of Roman clearly came out. He is back on the couch.”
Roman, who has one cap for Colombia, then wrote on his Instagram Story: “Guys, things are going well … Thanks everyone for the messages.”
