I found beauty dupes at Dollar Tree – I pay $45 for a similar cream at Costco

A DOLLAR Tree shopper has scored knock-offs of some of her favourite beauty buys.

She even bought a day and night cream for just $1.25 each, when she normally spends $45 on an anti-aging kit at Costco.

TikToker Joedy Tran (@nuocmamafoods) divided her goods into a viral video.

She scoured the skin care aisle and found several knock-offs of popular products.

Tran also noted that some counterfeit products came in sturdy packaging.

She added that even though they were slightly smaller than the original, she was still happy to add them to her cart.

WHAT DID SHE FIND?

First, she bought B.Pure’s Glow Up line with watermelon extract, which sells for $1.25 at Dollar Tree.

“I found the Glow Recipe watermelon flavored knockoff and they have plenty in stock,” she enthused.

The Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops Serum is sold exclusively at Sephora for $35.

“Look at this knockoff, Oil of Olay. They have a day and night cream,” she said.

Tran added that she pays much more for the skin-care duo at Costco.

“Do you know how much I pay for two of these jars at Costco? $45. A little bigger, but it’s $45,” she said.

I have been looking for a fake skincare product from Dollar Tree for ages. I was so restrained when I found it by only buying two.

Dollar Tree dupes are usually revealed by the label, which states that the day cream is: “Comparable to Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream.”

DUPE REVIEWS

Several TikTok viewers reacted to the Dollar Tree items.

“You must try the Glycolic Acid Toner, [it’s] “Better than The Ordinary version,” someone wrote.

“I love the blemish control line. We don’t have the watermelon line yet,” added another.

“I would be so scared [that] “The generic version will confuse me but I’m going to try them all because these are tough times,” said a third.

“That Oil of Olay dupe is actually really good,” wrote another. “I use the Oil of Olay line and it’s just as good.”

“You will be well hydrated and supple,” said another.

Several viewers indicated that a light green skin care product should not be missing.

They said that Global Beauty Care’s Oil-Free Soothing Moisturizer is also a good imitation for Clinique.

The Clinique Redness Solutions Daily Relief Cream with Microbiome Technology retails for $63 at Sephora.
