Luke Littler Praised as a triumph for himself and for arrows while he picked up his MBE.

De Nuke, 18, was recognized on Friday in the king’s birthday next to Luke Humphries.

Their prices show the growing influence of darts in the year that Littler became the youngest world champion ever, while Humphries claimed his girl Premier League crown.

A peak audience of 3,680,000 tailored to their final of the World Championship in 2024, which Humphries won, and since then they have gone into force.

The couple will be the sixth and seventh darts stars to receive the distinction after Fallon Sherrock, Keith Deller, John Lowe, Trina Gulliver and the late Eric Bristow.

“I am very happy for myself. I didn’t think I had once received one, “Littler told Sky Sports.

Humphries said it

Humphries said it “gives them more fire” to achieve more and grow their sport further

‘And clearly Fallon Sherrock, she received one for her world championships in the past. But for myself and what I have done, it is incredible and for my sport.

‘I am happy, my family is happy and I can’t wait to receive it.

“This price we have, it doesn’t come often. As we said, we are the sixth and seventh darts players who have ever received one.

“For myself, as we said, so early in our career, but what I did for myself, opened my own darts Academy and saw the younger generation coming up, it’s a huge boost for us two who come to the World Cup this weekend.”

Littler and Humphries link and will be confronted with Germany on Saturday if they enter the World Cup in the last 16 in Frankfurt.

Last year Humphries and Michael Smith worked together and defeated Austria in the final to claim the crown in a tournament that has been dominated by British teams since its foundation in 2010.

Humphries added on his MBE; “I am incredibly proud. It is clearly also a proud moment for my family. I didn’t expect to get it. When I received the letter, it was quite unexpected for me.

“It’s not something I thought so quickly in my career,” said the 30-year-old. ‘Usually you get it in your career quite later, but I and Luke have had a huge impact on the work of darts, especially Luke, he has brought in an incredibly young generation of darters that will build the sport more than now.

“It’s really a privilege. Really excited to receive it.

“It’s a fantastic achievement. You don’t get a MBE for nothing, you must have brought so much to a sport or have to provide so much.

‘I feel that I have done that with the way I have experienced a lot over the past four or five years and succeeds in storing myself and win so many large titles.

‘And then Luke, his first grand finale at the age of 16, we came up at the same time and it is nice that we can share the moment together. This is a special moment for our families because we have achieved so much in darts, but if you achieve something of the highest order, it is really a privilege.

‘It also gives us a little more fire. It ensures that we want to perform even more on it now, because it is a fairly special achievement and it would be wonderful to end the weekend with another world cup medal for both of us. ‘

Humphries came close to stopping darts in the past due to anxiety and panic attacks and even admitted in April that the demanding schedule is ‘not good’ for his ‘mental state’.

Receiving a MBE underlines the impact he and Littler have had on a sport that explodes in popularity and commercial potential.
