Amazon CEO Andy Jassy has announced progress in AI, and the integration of technology into many of the company’s activities, will probably reduce the company’s workforce in the coming five years due to the efficiency buyers.

Amazon blames AI for future fired

“We will need fewer people to do some of the jobs that are being done today, and more people who do other types of jobs,” Jassy explained. “It is difficult to know exactly where these are nets in the course of time, but in the coming years we expect this to reduce total employee work.”
Jassy’s remark about knowing where it will end in the future is relevant. Although many experts predict that AI could lead to net job creation, this means that some companies (such as Amazon) reduce their workforce while others see growth.
