Bride throws Bridgerton-themed wedding after being told she looks like character
A FAN organised a £15,000 Bridgerton-themed wedding after being told she looked like the gossip queen from the romantic drama Penelope Featherington.
Abby Ribeiro, 27, wore an ivory Regency-style dress and her red locks were in curls.

Husband Tiago, 26, wore a black suit and white tie, inspired by Colin Bridgerton.
The guests also dressed up and Abby even pulled out a Lady Whistledown gossip sheet in which she mocked the ‘scandal’ that she and Tiago had previously lived together.
They married in Swaffham, Norfolk, at a reception in the town’s Georgian Assembly Rooms.
Teaching assistant Abby said she kept hearing that she was the doppelganger of Penelope, played in Nicola Coughlan’s Netflix hit.
But she added: “I don’t see it myself, I think it’s just the ginger hair.”
Electrician Tiago had never seen the show until he binge-watched it with Abby.
She said, “It was very romantic.”
Tiago said: “Abby did an amazing job during the wedding.
“In the beginning, I was absolutely against wearing a Regency outfit on my wedding day, because I don’t like dressing up.
“But after watching Bridgerton more and more, I compromised and I think I did the right thing by what I wore.”
