A barista has the most annoying that customers unveiling coffee.
Lauren Taylor, 24, from the UK, went to Tap To share the ‘bugbears’ of coffee shop employees in a new video.
Starting, the barista complained that customers often do not greet her, even when ‘Hello’ says to them first.
She explained that ‘a simple hello is going a long way’, and that customers ‘forget fundamental ways’.
The influencer said that many come in the café where she works and launch directly into their coffee order without adding or thanking.
In the clip, Lauren also explained that many customers are not clear when placing their orders.
Instead of saying their specific order, Lauren explained that customers will simply ask for ‘a coffee’.
She wrote that when she asked people if they want a ‘small, medium or large’ drink that some people will answer ‘just normal’, so they don’t know what to make.
The barista then complained about people who ignore her when she has finished making their order and calls it for them to collect.
She said that, even though they ‘call their coffee while she looks directly at them’, a customer will ‘stare’ at her but then looks away.
Under the details of the exchange, Lauren hilariously wondered if they had forgotten their order.
Lauren’s last complaint focused on customers who are ‘too busy on the phone’ when making their order – so that they order the wrong one.
Although the barista had not failed, Lauren complained that customers rarely understand her position and suggested that she will still be blamed in these scenarios.
Lauren’s video has received 88,000 views and almost 100 responses, most of other baristas who agree with her complaints. Some even added their own worries.
