Dragons -legend Jamie Soward focused on his former club prior to the reunion of an upcoming players, and claims that team bosses do not even have his contact details.

The ex-Saints Halfback, which led the club to a grand final victory in 2010 and later coached their NRLW team, has thrown slightly on a gorge that fans ingeniously left behind.

Soward says that it is so bad that club bosses had to ask a third-party contact person to invite him to an upcoming Premiership reunion.

“There is [a former players’ day] Next month, what this summarizes for me, “he told James Graham’s The Bye Round Podcast.

‘They had to call someone, a mutual person who works at the club, to allow my data to invite me. Real? I worked there last year.

‘I have never welcomed myself after I left. Even when I was coaching, I never felt welcome. And they can say what they want to say. That’s how I feel. ‘

Soward, who collected 141 races for the Red V, revealed that remarkable club figures did not reach him after he was fired as the NRLW coach.

“There are people who knew me before I came back to coaching with which I would talk, who look around the traps that when I was released, I didn’t check, saw nothing at all,” he said.

“And Rugby League is a very small world. If you really hate someone, it is difficult to come back. But there are guys I expected to reach out.

‘I had boys from other clubs – former players, Ben Hornby, Brett Morris, Dean Young – called me personally. “Flanno” called me. But there are other people in that organization who looked at me and just treated me [they did in 2013]. ‘

Soward joined the Panthers for a four -year deal in 2014 after the Dragons decided to offer him only an annual extension.

“People say,” Why did you leave the dragons? ” The dragons lost me, “he said.

‘They didn’t want me there in 2013, which is fine. When a club offers you for four years, and a club where you have won a premiership with offers for a year without any resolution to sit down and say: “Where do you want to go?”

“That’s what I’m filthy about.”
