A pilot was about to take off from a Texas airport when he was suddenly arrested on a disturbing charge: canceling his flight.
A Frontier Airlines pilot was arrested by Houston police on a plane at George Bush Intercontinental Airport Saturday night.
The pilot, later identified as 45-year-old Seymour Walker, was pulled from Flight 3195 before departure on an outstanding warrant for assault and domestic violence.
Law enforcement scheduled the arrest when Flight 3195 reached its assigned gate at George Bush Intercontinental Airport around 4 p.m.
Officers boarded the empty plane and arrested the pilot without incident.

A Frontier Airlines pilot was arrested by Houston police on Saturday aboard a plane at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
Frontier Airlines confirmed the incident, saying the pilot was arrested before boarding began for Flight 3195, bound for Dallas-Fort Worth.
Because no replacement crew was available at short notice, the flight was cancelled.
To compensate for the inconvenience, passengers scheduled to board Flight 3195 were offered a full refund, credit or a place on the next available flight.
“Airlines report incidents like this to the FAA office that oversees these incidents, and we investigate all pilot concerns,” the Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement.
The Frontier incident follows shortly after another incident on board a plane involving Air Canada.
A recent video captured a heated argument between a flight attendant and a passenger who had only asked for a blanket.
The flight attendant’s behavior led to threats that he would remove the passenger and call the police, prompting other passengers to leave the plane in solidarity.

The airline employee says, “You behave or we’re getting off!” and “I’ll tell the captain right away. Yes or no?”
When passengers asked her to call the captain, the flight attendant said, “I don’t want any harassment against my crew.”
What happened beforehand is still unclear. The female passenger who asked for the blanket has not been identified or reported.
