My daughter was denied a passport after being named after a GoT character
A six-year-old girl was denied a passport because she was named after Khaleesi from Game of Thrones.
Khaleesi Holloway’s mother Lucy was told it was a violation of trademark law.
She was urged to contact Warner Bros Entertainment UK Ltd, and had to scrap her plans for a £2,000 holiday to Disneyland next one month.
But The Sun approached the Home Office, which runs the Passports department, and last night it said a mistake had been made.
A spokeswoman said: “We can confirm that the application is being processed and apologise for the delay.”
Single mother Lucy, 38, from Swindon, Wilts, said: “Thank you Sun. I’m so happy. It’s her dream to go to Disneyland.”

Khaleesi, or Queen, was the title given to Emilia Clarke’s character Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO hit.
Lucy added: “I just loved the name.
“I call her Cally for short, but she always introduces herself as Khaleesi Holloway, Queen of the Dragons.”
