Good news if you are fully committed Google Gemini AiAnd you like saving money: the Google AI Pro subscription can now be purchased annually and monthly, and you save yourself a piece of money if you pay from year to year.
As spotted by 9to5GoogleYou can now pay $ 199.99 for a year of AI property, instead of the existing $ 19.99 option per month – with $ 239.88 the last one elaborates $ 239.88 ($ 39.89 more than an annual plan).
In the UK, your options are £ 18.99 per month or 189.99 per year (you save £ 37.89). It is not immediately clear whether the deal is the same in Australia, but there the monthly fee is AU $ 32.99 – so you would probably look at AU $ 329.99 a year (AU $ 65.89 saves). In essence, you will get two months free if you pay a year in advance.
Of course the disadvantage of annual plans that you are determined for a whole year, so you cannot unsubscribe whenever you want – that is why you often see annual plans available for less in general, in all places where you sign up for a subscription.

Chatgpt Plus remains $ 20 / £ 20 per month (AU $ 30.58 at current rates). There is not yet an option to pay annually, and you can also set up $ 200 / £ 200 (approximately AU $ 306) per month for the top class plan, with fewer limits and more functions.
For comparison purposes, Google’s own super charged, pro-level plan is Google AI UltraAnd that will reduce $ 249.99 / £ 234.99 / AU $ 409.99 per month. All this means that there is not too much to choose between the monthly costs of Gemini and Chatgpt, when it comes to the cheaper plans for which most people will register – but if you want to pay and save annually, that is only possible on the Google Service.
We will have to wait and see if Chatgpt responds with its own annual plan. It is also worth noting that you can use both Gemini and Chatgpt for free, but with a limited range of functions and more restrictions on your use.
