This is the tense moment that an object is thrown to Pope Leo XIV from a huge crowd trying to count on him on World Drugs Day.
Swarms of worshipers were pressed against the railing and desperately tried to reach the Catholic leader.
An overly enthusiastic believers threw a red and yellow object – which it was believed was a scarf representing the football club as Roma – and hit the skull cap of the Pontiff.
