Luke Humphries is confronted with a hospital visit with an injury fear after he had been withdrawn on a walk-on by a fan.
The World No1 remained in pain after the thumb on his throwing hand was withdrawn by an overy fan during his walk-on in the American masters in Madison Square Garden.

The bizarre incident took place before ‘Cool Hands’ first round match against Stowe Buntz.
Despite the inconvenience, Humphries still managed to win the World Series event after having seen Nathan Aspinall 8-6 in the final.
But the Cheshire world confessed that he should get an X-ray if the pain refuses to leave.
He said: “My thumb is incredibly swollen. It is difficult to continue playing. I struggled with the grip. I couldn’t keep my thumb in the same position.
“I don’t want to make everything about that, I won the title and I don’t want it to be about the fact that I have an injury, but the man when he pulled my hand back, he really hurt.
“I have to go home and get the X -rays. I don’t think it’s broken because it doesn’t hurt to press it. I have a few weeks off. The next time I play is two weeks away, so I have enough time.
“It is not broken, that is the most important thing, but it is not in good condition, it is incredibly swollen.
“When I was in the final, I told my family that I am going to give it everything.
“If I injure my hand in the final, I don’t care. I did my best and it was good enough, so really satisfied. I was not at my best, but I managed to win.”
