My ‘apples’ blush tip makes it look like I spent the whole weekend at the beach
A MAKEUP fanatic shares her simple tricks for getting a glamorous glow without baking on the beach.
She knew she could combat her dull skin by using her apple blush every day.
Reddit user Tlynn421 shared her sun-kissed beauty routine that gave her radiant results.
“I apply blush to the tops of my apples and my nose. If I’m in a hurry, I’ll blend it out with my fingers,” she says.
There was indeed a method behind her makeup madness.
“The goal is to play with my board in the ocean under the sun all weekend long [look] “while protecting my skin,” she said.
She enjoyed all the benefits, but did not risk harmful sun exposure.
She shared how she fooled others with her fake tan on ‘casual days’ like when she went out for brunch, grocery shopping, etc.
To complete her beach look, she uses a little tinted mauve lip balm.
Then she applies mascara and buys some economical face makeup.

“I use L’Oreal Lumi tinted moisturizer instead of foundation, and it’s perfect,” she said.
If you want to try it out for yourself, you can purchase L’Oreal True Match Lumi Glotion on Amazon, which is on sale for $12.81.
Besides looking beach-ready, she also knows how to look like she’s had a nap.
She noted that she “applies a concealer under her eyes and brows that rejuvenates the skin, making her look less tired and more awake.”
She also swore by her other dazzling eye tricks.
“Find a color that contrasts with your eye color and use a small, angled eyeliner brush to apply one or two eye shadows,” she says.
“Apply the contrasting color very subtly in the lower corners and on the outer side of your lash line and a little bit along the top of your lids,” she added.
“It’s best to not use eyeliner or go very light so that your eyes look enchanting and really stand out.”
For her own green eyes, she usually opts for dark purple, chestnut brown or brown-purple shades.
“Also apply a matte white line to the inside of your lower lids. It will make you look really wide-awake and doe-eyed!” she said.
Another Redditor was grateful for the glam advice.
“Great tips! I have hazel eyes and think they look amazing when I wear violet/maroon eyeshadow/eyeliner,” they said.
“I didn’t know it was because they were contrasting colors!” they continued.
