Note of the editors: EA recently canceled work on the new Black Panther game and closed developer Cliffhanger Games. As such it doesn’t work out, but you can still find information about everything that has been announced in this article.
A new Black Panther Game is in the making at Cliffhanger Games, a new outfit under the EA banner. After a few years of rumors that swallow around the internet, EA finally announced Black Panther Game, in addition to some details about what to expect. Since then we have not heard much at all and we have even seen it A completely different game with Black Panther announced.
While information is currently light on the Black Panther Game, we know that developers work that previously the Shadow of Mordor Game series. With such a pedigree, Black Panther certainly has a big chance to land between the Best superhero games when it is eventually launched.

Black Panther Gameplay Details Unveiled
So far we have yet to see the gameplay of the new Black Panther game of EA. Some information is buried in the announcement for the gameWho describes it as an “original, third person, single-player Black Panther game.” Although there is still enough to learn about the gameplay, we at least know that this third person will be and action -oriented. Hopefully we will hear more instead of later.
An interesting piece from the blog post comes from project leader Kevin Stephens:
“We are committed to giving fans a definitive and authentic Black Panther experience, giving them more freedom of choice and control over their story than they have ever experienced in a story-driven video game.”
We bet that from this Black Panther Has story choices, or perhaps something that looks like the Nemesis system from the shadow of Mordor games. More info followed in April 2024, as part of a vacancy that suggests The new Black Panther game will be open world (Eurogamer). The advertisement describes the role:
“Reporting to the Design Manager, the Sr. Technical Designer Sandbox will play an important role in designing and filling meetings, systems and gameplay within a dynamic and evolving open world,” “
This all means that the game can still be in early development, although it at least suggests that the team is currently designing it around an open world system.

What we know about the new Black Panther Game is that it takes place in Wakanda. The in-game world of Wakanda is described as a “rich superhero sandbox”. This can mean more an open world, or a little more limited. The aforementioned blog post also outlines the plans of Cliffhanger Games for Wakanda:
“When we start this remarkable journey, we are pleased to work with Marvel Games To ensure that we make every aspect of Wakanda, his technology, heroes and our own original story with the attention to detail and authenticity that the world of Black Panther deserves. “
