Siri may not be the best digital assistant out there, which is a shame, but the hardware inside Apple’s smart speakers is top-notch. The HomePod and HomePod mini are far from cheap, and discounts aren’t easy to come by. But don’t worry, whether it’s the HomePod 2 or the HomePod Mini what you’re shopping for, we’ve listed all the best prices available here. Some retailers offer hard discounts, while others give you free services instead, so make sure you pick the deal that’s right for you.
We’ll update this list of deals as more deals appear and prices change, so check back later if you don’t see the right deal right now.
Best HomePod Deals
In a surprising move, Apple has unveiled an improved HomePod in January. The long-awaited update to the full-size HomePod, originally released in 2018 and discontinued in 2021, has a largely unchanged appearance, but the new smart speaker includes a number of interesting additional features in addition to the exceptional audio quality we expect from Apple devices. New features include MatterSupport for Thread and Bluetooth 5.0, plus built-in sensors for temperature, humidity and sound recognition.
B&H Photo is offering one of the few direct discounts on the HomePod 2 right now, with $20 off the white and midnight options, bringing the price down to $279. The retailer is also offering a nice way to save on sales tax with its own-branded B&H Payboo credit card, which gives you the tax back as cash. On a purchase as big as a HomePod, that’s a tidy sum.
Target is selling the second-generation HomePod for a dollar more than the regular price, but Target RedCard holders get a 5% ($15) discount.
Order the latest HomePod directly from Apple for $299 and get six months of Apple Music (a $66 value) at no extra cost if you’re new to the service.
Best Buy has the new HomePod in both colors. There’s no immediate discount, but you do get three months of Apple Fitness Plus with your purchase. This deal used to include Apple Music and other services, but that’s no longer the case.
Best HomePod Mini Deals
Apple’s HomePod Mini, which launched in late 2020, offered Apple fans a more compact and, crucially, cheaper smart speaker option. 2021 saw the addition of vibrant colors to the lineup, something the full-size HomePod lacks. At $99, the Mini is far more affordable than its bigger sibling, though it’s still nice to find a HomePod Mini deal that can bring the price down even further.
B&H Photo has all five HomePod Mini colors in stock, and the retailer is offering them right now for $95, a small savings of $4. You can also save on sales tax by using the B&H Payboo credit card, which gives you the tax back as cash.

Costco isn’t currently offering any direct discounts on the HomePod Mini, but it has been selling for $80, so keep an eye on the store.
Again, an easy way to save on Apple stuff is to shop at Target, where you can save 5% when you pay with a Target RedCard. That’s good for $5 off the HomePod Mini.
Apple’s HomePod Mini costs the full $99 at Apple, though new subscribers get six months of Apple Music at no extra cost. That’s a $66 value.
While there’s no current direct discount on the HomePod Mini at Best Buy, you do get three months of Apple Fitness Plus with your purchase.
