The Meta Quest 3 is a popular VR headset in a growing market thanks to its combination of affordability and ease of use. The Apple Vision Pro is the headset that’s getting the most attention these days, but its price point is too high for most people, meaning the Meta Quest 3 is a much better option for those who don’t want to spend more than $3,499. Occasionally, deals come along that make the Quest 3 even cheaper , and we’ve done the hunting for the best deals so you don’t have to.
Since the Meta Quest 3 is still relatively new, it can be tough to find deals. However, if you buy the 128GB version, you’ll get a free game, while the 512GB model also gets you six months of Meta Quest Plus. The game and subscription together cost around $100, so it’s a good deal when you look at it from that perspective.
Unlike the Meta Quest 2, the Quest 3 embraces both virtual reality and mixed reality experiences in a manner similar to the Apple Vision Pro and last year’s Quest Pro. However, it costs a lot less than either device, making it quite an appealing proposition.
Other improvements over its predecessor include a new Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor, better graphics, a higher-resolution display, and improved controllers.

Newegg is offering the 128GB model of the Meta Quest 3 for just $1 off the suggested retail price. That’s not the biggest discount we’ve ever seen, of course.
It looks like Amazon has dropped the price to $481, possibly permanently. That means you can get it for $19 less than the MSRP.
Target currently has the best deal, as you can save $25 if you have the Target Circle Card* thanks to the 5% discount that applies to all Target purchases. That brings it to $475, which is a little cheaper than elsewhere.
Similar to Amazon, you can buy the Quest 3 here for $481.
